Rock & Pop Choir


Rock and Pop choir AS IF will perform a selection of pieces in a free concert, promoting the work of the Yes-U-Are Partnership, on Saturday January 7th 2017 from 12 o’clock, on the steps of the Erskine Building (in between Dunfermline Post Office and the Kingsgate’s shopping centre’s East entrance).
 
This adult mixed voice choir started in May 2015 and so far have performed for Forth 1 Radio (Christmas Lights switch on in 2015), The Alhambra Theatre Christmas Showcase and various community projects. Rehearsals are on a Monday evenings at Queen Anne High School and the choir are always happy to welcome new members. 

Yes-U-Are is a registered charity which supports community development by providing facilities, activities, and caring services in the locality. 
Yes-U-Are will have information displays about their work developing the Erskine Building in Dunfermline’s historic city centre, into a family friendly all day/night community centre and cafe for use by local charities and the community at large. Some fundraising for these aims will also be taking place. 
Prizes have been donated by individuals and businesses including Dynamic Dunfermline, Turkish Pride, The Golden Chip, and Bespoke Hair and Beauty, Manud Barbers, New Serena, Bus Station cafe, The Sweet Shop, The Co-Op, The Ginger Vikings, Spiritdrum, Stephens, Coadys  and further donations for this will be gratefully received at the Yes-U-Are office at the back of the Erskine building, 4 Pilmuir Street, Dunfermline, or get in touch with via the website or Yes-U-Are’s Facebook.
